With the same devotion and passion of the past, the Giannini family lends itself to vinifying and refining this red wine, 𝗥𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼, obtained from the soft pressing of 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀𝗲 grapes with good acidity, after contact with their skins for 12-14 days at controlled temperatures.
Part of the wine is aged in barrique giving a better structure to the wine without giving to much oak aroma to the wine.
Try it paired with dishes made of red meat and game, and seasoned cheeses.

𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 & 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲 was founded 1908 in Mombaruzzo, but its present structure was finalized in 1975 thanks to Luciano Chiarle, Giorgio Chiarle and Domenico Bonfante, following in the footsteps of their fathers and their grandfathers before them, who were all dedicated winemakers that have lived for this passion. Thus, Bonfante & Chiarle has continued this entrepreneurial tradition in the Monferrato hills through a venture that aimed at promoting a new kind of development based on the relationship with the territory and the passion for excellent and certified wine.

The soils of Monferrato, where the 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗿𝗮̀ company was born, have similarities to those of the Langhe, with a prevalence of calcareous clays and sand. The different viticultural vocation comes mainly from the general climatic conditions, which are colder and drier. Here the Barbera grape has found a home: Nizza DOCG Gaiana and Nizza Riserva DOCG Mora di Sassi best represent this territory

マルグラが生まれたモンフェッラートの土壌は、石灰質粘土と砂が優勢で、ランゲ地方の土壌に類似していますが、主に寒冷で乾燥した気候条件が異なる点で、異なるブドウ栽培の適性を示しています。この地ではバルベーラが最適な家を見つけ、ニッツァDOCG「ガイアナ」やニッツァ・リゼルヴァDOCG「モーラ・ディ・サッシ」が、この地域を最もよく表現しています。

In 1960 the Giannini Family bought the first farm, bringing with them the first grapevine. They will therefore be pioneers of viticulture in the Pontine area.
Our vineyards are located in the Agro Pontino, a vast and luxuriant plain that has become fertile ground thanks to the reclamation work that in the 1930s transformed the swampland into a rich and fertile land.
Pioneer of Pontine viticulture, the Giannini Family decided to create their own winery which came to life on the 24th of July 1994 with the name of 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮, in honor of the luxuriant nature and fertility of the territory.

Every day, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗿𝗮̀ sees the versatility of the Barbera grape first hand, the most common grape variety in the region, brought around the world by Piedmontese migrants when they roam around. The Barbera has been a faithful companion in the fields, even when it was no longer cultivated in the local villages. With its acidity and few tannins. Each vineyard, however close to the others, expresses peculiar characteristics.

マルグラでは毎日、最も一般的なブドウ品種であるバルベーラの多様性を目の当たりにしています。この品種はピエモンテから世界中に広がっていきました。地元の村で栽培されなくなった時期も、バルベーラは畑での忠実な仲間でした。その酸味と控えめなタンニンは、他の畑と隣接していながらも、それぞれが独自の特徴を表現しています。

The vineyards of 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗿𝗮̀ are mostly located within the municipality of Nizza Monferrato, the center of the Asti Monferrato area. At present, they stretch for about 40 hectares and are mostly clustered around a hilly ridge that represents the heart of the production of Nizza DOCG. The vineyards are mostly planted with Barbera, but there can also be found Moscato, Brachetto, Albarossa and Chardonnay grapes.

マルグラのブドウ畑は、主にアスティ・モンフェッラート地域の中心であるニッツァ・モンフェッラート市内に位置しています。現在、それらは約40ヘクタールにわたり広がっており、ニッツァDOCGの生産の中心を成す丘陵の尾根の周りに集中しています。ブドウ畑には主にバルベーラが植えられていますが、モスカート、ブラケット、アルバロッサ、シャルドネのブドウも見られます。
